The city is pretty compact so our 2 day itinerary for Prague does involve a lot of walking, but if you’d prefer to use public transport to get around you’ll be pleased to hear it’s cheap and efficient. There are various tickets available, lasting from lasting 30 minutes (24CZK/about 80p) to 3 days (310 CZK/about £10).
3 - DAY. Czech Republic is not one of the countries that come to mind first when you think of a Europe tour. It is a quaint nation partially stuck in the vortex of time. Prague, however, presents itself in a rather iridescent robe. In one day, Prague can present you with a lulling experience in a house of prayer, followed by a frenzied pub crawl.

Český Krumlov, much like Hallstatt, is a very small town with little in the way of “activities.” We recommend spending 2-3 days here, exploring on foot and learning about Czech culture (and food, and beer). It’s possible to score a pretty cheap place to stay, so this is a good spot to spend an extra day immersed in wintry European beauty.

Time to czech it out! The castle is located in the heights of Prague. Your legs are going to work to climb up there, and there are a lot of stairs (good way to stay in shape !).
